ETA 404 Is Now Open

ETA 404 is now open.

It is a place to leave behind things I have looked into and verified by building: software, infrastructure, and the small details that are useful to revisit later. I will write at a pace that leaves room to read.

About the name

ETA means estimated time of arrival.

In software development, the answer is often still unclear when someone asks for a schedule. A forecast is needed anyway, and it can change as more becomes known.

ETA 404 comes from that slightly troublesome, but familiar, part of making software.

What I plan to write

I plan to write mostly about software and infrastructure: configuration I tried, things I noticed while revisiting documentation, and topics I would like my future self to find again.

No rush

There is no fixed publishing schedule yet.

The estimated time of arrival is unknown, but progress is being made. I hope that is a good way to keep this going.
